125 Years of Morley Library in Painesville In-Person
Mr. Jesse Healy Morley presented Morley Library to the citizens of Painesville in 1899, in memory of his parents. The Morley family first settled in the village of Painesville in 1823, and in 1832, Mr. Morley began attending school in a building where the library is now located. Morley Library and the City of Painesville have enjoyed a long, rich historical relationship over the past 125 years. Please join us for a program to share in our Quasquicentennial celebration of 125 years of Morley in Painesville!
