Morley Library and the Lake County Trauma Response Team are offering free drop-in sessions for community members seeking support in the aftermath of the tragic shooting that occurred this past weekend in Painesville. Session dates/times are:

Wednesday, June 11, 3pm-7pm

Thursday, June 12, 12pm-4pm

Licensed counselors will be available in the study rooms on the library's 3rd floor for brief one-on-one or small group conversations to provide guidance and recommend additional resources if needed.

The Trauma Response Team is a collaborative initiative funded by the Lake County ADAMHS Board made up of a group of behavioral health professionals. The team offers timely, coordinated support in the wake of a tragedy, such as a suicide, assault or large scale accident. The team helps folks within our community cope with traumatic events, help them understand their reaction to trauma and teach them techniques for stress.
