Family Exploration Stations: Light and Shadows

Family Exploration Stations: Light and Shadows

Inspired by the Franklin Institute's Leap into Science national program, Morley Library is excited to host a family exploration station program. Explore lights and shadows in this family-directed program. The library will have different stations set up for families to engage, experiment and discuss how light passes through different objects and how shadows are made. Make shadow puppets with your hands, classify objects by how light interacts with them, and more. Each family will receive an explorer packet and a take home shadow jar kit to build together. This program is for families and children of all ages.
